    5.When visiting a Dai house, climb up the staircase in brisk steps; after that, take a seat as per the host's motion. Keep in mind following taboos: spitting, whistle at night, striding across fire pit, stirring firewood in the pit with a foot, and going to see the host's bedroom. Otherwise, the host may think that you look down upon them.
